if you are a millionaire should you be able to win the lottery?

ok if you a millionaire or if you have won the lottery more then once do you think that person should be able to win again ? i don't do the whole lottery thing but i just think it is not fair that someone who already has the money or for someone who has already won should be able to get it again that money could help someone else out who really needs the money if you feel the same way holla if not the post ur arguement

Update:

lol there was a millionaire who had won 3 times haha and hit big the 3rd time ...why should a millionaire play? why should any one play ?

Update 2:

tom u r an idiot how is this question immature ? if most people who buy these tickets are uneducated then you are calling millions and millions of people dumb even some people in the government ..ppl by these tickets so they might have a chance to win some money and live a normal American life u know a non stressful everyday life

Well one nice thing about people with a lot of money playing is that they probably add a lot more to the jackpots. I think from a moral standpoint, no they shouldn't keep it. If I had a million bucks and I bought a ticket for the heck of it, I'd give most if not all of it to charity.

However, trying to enforce such a law would be a pain. You'd have to investigate each winner to be sure they didn't have enough money, and that would cost money each time someone won, thus reducing the jackpots each time. It would probably cost less to let some rich jerk win once in a while.

Yes, you should be able to win. I would imagine many people that are millionaires would look at the chances of wining before buying into the lottery. The odds of wining would keep most from wasting their money.

Why do you think of the lotteries have plenty funds? they does not enable themselves lose funds with the help of giving greater winning funds that what they earn. the full element appropriate to the lottery is you may win yet not as plenty funds as you spend. Does your mom get $70 an afternoon back from those scratchies? positioned purely, no.

Would it be fair if the Government forbid a poor person from buying a lottery ticket because he lacks the funds to support himself, and taking on a risky venture may deprive him the ablilty to feed his family.

Your question is imature...The reason lotterys are set up is for the sole purpose to get poor and uneducated people to buy high risk tickets to feed the tax coffers. TAX ON THE POOR -- DREAM ON.

Of course they should be allowed to win and collect. If you buy the ticket, you've purchased a chance to win; that is fair.

you should be legally able to, but that person just shouldn't try out of common sense. besides what are the odds of winning the lottery twice?

The lottery is open to all regardless of income, morally speaking they should stay out of it. They should be self conscience that there are plenty of people in lower income brackets that would benefits of such a good fortune. Bottom line is greed. There are no laws against greed.
