My iPod got dropped into water. It is not broken though. The things that are wrong with it are the backlight timer doesn't work and the apple screen keeps popping up. I can't get a new one and I don't want my parents to know because they will be so mad. Please help anyone.

gently take off the back and there will be a red wire there. Tape that to the battery and it shoulb be fixed. I am an Ipod instuctee so I should know.

Sounds like your ******. Call apple and see if they'll replace it but only if its warranty or they'll charge you. The guy above me is right, but definitely call first because if you open your ipod your warranty is void regardless then try it even though you'll probably end up breaking it.
