use a hair drier on it ,the heat will help make it more flexible then you can get it to let go,you wont have to use a blade or nothing on it if you can get it to start coming off, then alcohol will remove the old glue residue,or goo-b-gone,this stuff works really well, you can find it at wal-mart or any k-mart stores, just take your time with it,and you,ll get all of it off, without damaging the bumper any at all, good luck with it.

Slow and steady will get it done. Trying to force things along generally just makes a mess!

The procedure consists of five steps:

    1. Spritz the sticker and the area around it with a little WD-40. The WD combined with the heat in step 2 will dissolve the adhesive along the edges of the sticker, making it easier to peel back.

    2. Allow the WD to sit for a few moments, and then begin warming up the sticker (with something like a blow dryer or heat gun) and the immediate area around the sticker. You don't need to get the area blistering hot, and remember, you are working with a painted surface. Overheating the area can cause the paint to soften, making it easier to scratch.

    3. As the sticker warms up you'll feel the surface become more pliable. When it does, start at one corner and slowly and carefully peel up the edge.

    4. As the sticker lifts, apply a little heat to the leading edge. If the sticker starts to melt, ease up the heat. If it tears at some point, don't panic—you can remove the remnants later.

    5. Once the sticker has been removed, wash down any leftover adhesive with WD-40, then use a clean rag to wipe the residue away.

Your goal should be to try and dissolve the glue but not hurt the paint. Keep wetting it with water and peel away at the edges constantly. If this does not work they make a spray on solvent to get stickers off of painted bumpers. Your local auto parts store will have this.

DO NOT take a razor to the sticker or use alcohol or gasoline as a solvent...the paint will be destroyed.

Use a blow dryer to heat the sticker up and then peel it of and as far as the glue that is left take a little paint thinner to soften it up and rub with a rag till it is gone.

peel the bumper sticker off first very slowly then use peanut butter (no, no, no not chunky) to disolve the sticky left behind. Its messy but works well even on some scraches, just wash it all off with soap and water.

They make sticker remover products specifically for that. Also Bug & Tar Remover works pretty god at removing adhesive.
