Yes, I've taken an ex back. And I wound up being hurt again.

That's just my experience...but if you want to take him back and if he's really serious about this, make him wait. Make him show you that he's changed and he won't hurt you again FIRST and then take it from there.

My ex girlfriend broke up with me to "see what else was out there." I did absolutely nothing wrong during our 2 year relationship for her to leave me but she wanted to test the waters. I was crushed, caught off guard and did not expect this. Anyhow, a week later she begs and begs me to take her back and like an idiot, I did. Well, the second go around only lasted a week because it just wasn't the same anymore and I came to my senses. The damage was done and so I dumped her. It's been 2 months since then and it still somewhat hurts but I'm happily moving on.

Keep thinking that there's a reason why you broke up with him. If he hurt you so bad, why go back? That's like losing a limb to a tiger and getting back in the cage anyway.

I had a boyfriend that hurt me tons of times..it never gets better, it's better to keep it ended. I took my boyfriend back I dont even knw how many times and each time it got worst..First he just started talking to the girl, we broke up..I took him back and then I found him in bed with a different girl...then when it was finally over I found out he had cheated on my atleast 8 times because I kept taking him back and he thought what he was doing was okay because I did take him back...so just leave it as it is there are so many guys out there!
