It's kinda ironic cuz you'd have to be MORE patient with them then they are with you.
Let them know politely that you didn't get it or ask them to repeat it or what ever your need.
If they don't and you feel left out after 3 repeated efforts in order to honor them by going the distance to really hear what they are saying, and if after your 3 attempts I can safely bet, that they are most defiantly not worth listening to in the first place. Move on. Walk away, Silence can be more powerful then the fist. It is defiantly not you that is slow.
