I just wonder about Microsoft ?

Microsoft, probably one of the largest corporations on the planet and the maker of windows and vista, why on earth can't this major company make software like vista more compatable with drivers for printers, faxes and other computer periferals ?

Microsoft don't actually make the drivers for peripherals, the company that makes the device itself provides the software that runs it.

Vista? Well, as it was something like 5 years late (and Microsoft are notorious for 'moving the goalposts'), 3rd party companies waited until the final code was released for Vista before attempting to write drivers for their devices (because todays code wouldn't work on tomorrows Vista when Microsoft changed something).

So....when Vista was released, there was a lack of drivers for it, then the 3rd party's had to play catch-up & write drivers that run on it!

(XP had the same problems at first....now look at it! Vista will get there!)
