Feng Shui in a closet?

We are redoing our master bedroom closet. Is there a color that is should be painted? Currently it is white. The closet organizers that we bought are real and photographed birch. Can I put a mirror it it? I plan on putting in a cedar floor as well. What kind of lighting? Is flourencent ok or is it never ok? Any other suggestions would be helpful too thanks!!!

It really depends on how large your bedroom closet is. If it's one of those large walk-in closets, it would probably be counted as a separate room by itself.

Flouroscent (gah, i could never spell that) are generally ok.

Try reading the articles in this feng shui articles section, as it will be helpful in providing you with a firmer grasp on feng shui principles:

fengshui depends on the chi/ energy of the 5 elements (fire, earth, metal, water and wood). chi occupies space, the more space you have good fengshui, the better your life will be - this means that for fengshui to have a significant change, your whole house must have at least 2/3's or 67% good fengshui. therefore, if you are just applying it to your closet, it would not have any effect - unless the closet is 2/3 of the whole house.

fengshui is not a decorating style. it is a form of divination. it works by using chi of the 5 elements. it works whether you believe it or not.

mirror inside a closet? it is okay.

kinds of floor, lighting, etc.... as i said fengshui is not about decorating or design. you can have a well fengshui'd house and still be victorian or minimalist.
