1. Click the Table->Insert->Table menu item.

2. Put a 2 in the Number of Columns text box.

3. Put a 5 or so in the Number of Rows text box.

4. Click OK.

Now put a line of the song in Spanish in the left-hand column and its translation in the right-hand column. Keep doing this, using a row for each line.

If you want to make the layout less formal looking, you can make the table borders, including the center divider and the horizontal cross lines, disappear this way.

1. Click the Table->Table Properties menu item.

2. Click the Borders and Shadings button

3. In the preview box, deselect the lines you don't want.

4. Click OK.

But if you want to see the gridlines while you're typing, but still not print anything, make sure Table->Show Gridlines is selected.

You can turn the whole document into two columned pages by clicking up on the Format menu, then columns, then choose two.

You're better off setting up that kind of format in Excel. Word will only give you "Gutter" space between the two columns.
