Anyone know of any nude beaches on the West Coast of Florida?
My wife and I are planning to watch the sunrise and set naked. We know of Canaveral National Seashore on the East Coast, but any where to view it set on the west coast of Florida?

There are no legal nude beaches on Florida's West Coast. Some of the barrier islands (accessible only by boat) would be your best options for naturist use, as there are few people who would be offended by simple nudity.
An organization is working towards a Clothing Optional beach on Fort Desoto park, but it's not yet been legally recognized. I would encourage you to sign a petition (located on the website) and mail it in! All the local government needs to do is stick a sign in the sand - and we nudists will generate an estimated million dollars in extra revenues.
It's kind of a no-brainer! The sign helps to prevent user conflict on the beach by adequately advising beach users of a clothing optional section, and the naturists/nudists who wish to use that part of the beach are guaranteed to spend money in the local economy.

I don't know of any beaches on the west coast. There are some nudist camps in Pasco County, but they aren't on the beach.
