APPLE COBBLER

4 apples

1/4 c. sugar

1/2 tsp. cinnamon

BATTER:

1 1/4 c. flour

1 egg, beaten

1/2 c. milk

1/4 c. sugar

1 tsp. baking powder

Pinch salt

Lastly 2 tbsp. melted butter

LEMON SAUCE:

(Mix all ingredients well, pour over cobbler).

2 tbsp. butter

1 tbsp. cornstarch

1 c. boiling water

3 tbsp. lemon juice

Peel and slice apples, put in 8 inch square pan. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Make batter of flour, egg, sugar, milk, baking powder and salt. Add the melted butter, beat well. Pour over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Serves 6. Serve warm with Lemon Sauce.

3 cans of apple pie filling in a cake pan

stir together

1cup self rising flour

2/3 cup brown sugar

1 egg

1 tbl spoon of ground cinnamon

stir in some milk ...just enuff to make doughballs that fall apart

sprinkle all over the pie filling

bake at 350 degrees until the top is golden brown
