What comment did Isaiah Washington make that got him fired from Greys Anatomy?

The controversy had two tiers.

1) Behind the scenes, Washington and some cast members -- one supposedly Dempsey -- had an altercation over Washington's ALLEGED use of the "f" word to refer to another cast member who was gay. It could have ended there, but...

2) In front of the camera, at the Emmy award show after-party, Washington tried to be cute and blurted out into the microphone at the ceremony "And by the way, I didn't call so-and-so a "f...a...". THIS is the incident that blew it all up on him. It might have been let pass. But this public joke/comment drew the big media magnet down on him, as it had on Michael Richards and Don Imas. He was tried and executed in the court of celebrity media TV and tabloid after that.

From what I understand it was him or George quiting. Burke is homophobic and George was threatening to leave the show because of the treatment he was getting from Burke.

He was in an argument with Patrick Dempsey and he said something like I'm not your f*g like T.R. (George). This caused big problems. He denied it, but later on, on an award show he made another comment about it which brought back all the drama.

He was angry about another cast member who was late to the set. Patrick Dempsey attempted to calm him down, and tried to defend the other actor. Isaiah Washington referred to the other actor as a "little f****t." Then, he repeated the comment when he tried to deny he said it at an interview after the Emmy's show. That was the final straw

So optimistic what he stated wasn't superb I recommend c'mon who hasn't stated that observe formerly! people heavily would desire to end blowing those thinsg out of share. And what makes me mad is that if it hadn't been like a diss to do with gay people probable no one would have cared. i'm soo ill how all of us overreacts approximately issues gay.

isaiah was having a dispute with one of the actors on the show and said something like "you're not gonna treat me like a b*tch, punk or ****" then TR Knight overheard the argument and told everybody that isaiah was calling him the "****". i believed isaiah instantly when he told his side of the story.

i havent heard it either but all of a sudden gay remarks and racial remarks are being blended as one and thats just not right and certainly not reason for your job to be taken away.

If I am not mistaken, he called someone (another co-star) a F@66ot.

Then he had to go to counseling for using such language and being "homophobic"....

something about him not liking gay people or something like that not that sure, but I know I'm close enough
