The guy is actually kind of a joker. If you watched that series on ESPN, they really portrayed Steinbrenner as a guy who had control but too many people were able to influence him.

He may be an azz but unlike many owners in Baseball who only care about putting money in their pockets instead of helping to improve their team & make their fan base happy he cares about putting a good team on the field.

He's actually a pretty cool guy. Just cuz your team sucks doesn't mean go diss the owner of the greatest team in baseball.
