How can I repair a leaking nylon pneumatic air line?
I was welding near it and a blob of slag burned a small hole in it about the size of a ball point pen tip. It is yellow line about 3/8 inch in diameter.

Hi there,
They sell this stuff in the plumbing department, it's used to make temporary plumbing repairs, it's rubber tape. If you get some of that and wrap the pneumatic air line, and then put a hose clamp on it to hold it securely over the area where the hole is it should work.
The other way would be to get a set of splicing ends, cut the air line and splice it back together.
Good luck,

Depending on how much pressure the line holds, a compression type fitting could be installed (like used in plumbing repairs or water lines for the ice maker).
