Yankees think that they're World Champions?
Why is it that the Yankees an their fans think that by winning 1 (ONE) game that they are the World Series Champions? they still need tro win 2 (TWO) more games to have any chance.
Yankee fans feel "Entitled" to win EVERY year, it doesn't worrk that way - just like you haven't won this milenium!
Brian, I gave you thumbs up.
A-Rods only fan..... this is my question and I have to worry about the answers. Don't answer it if you can't handle the TRUTH!

They seem to forget one minor detail:
YOU HAVE TO EARN THE RIGHT TO BE CHAMPIONS!
You earn it by working hard and having fortitude and gumption; 2 key ingredients for winning!
They dont play as a team; unless that is "ME ME ME ME ME"
The yankees are just a bunch of whinning little crybabies who throw a fit when mommy or daddy wont give them some candy.
The yankees have NOT won a world series in the 21st century, and it looks as that trend will continue. That pleases me to no end.
Yankee fans need to wake up and realize that there are OTHER people living on this planet, and you cant always get what you want!

Not every Yankee fan has said that. I'm a Yankee fan, and I know that there's a long way to go, and we may not even get there. Cleveland's been doing really well, and the Yankees have been doing badly the first two games. Yesterday's game realy spurred a lot of emotion among Yankee fans. We knew that one more loss would mean that we are out of the playoffs, and that Joe Torre would probably be fired. We knew we were so close to being out of it all. Wins mean a lot, but it doesn't mean you're going to the World Series. There is still a lot of work to be done. One more loss in this series, and we're out. A little confidence is not a bad thing, but ********* is. There are fans from every team who are very cocky, some more than others. I'm sure that you're angry at the 3 or 5 people you heard this Yankees win the World Series stuff when there is still lot of work left, but don't think that everybody thinks that way.

Just to humor you, it's because of the momentum that is about to turn. With Cleveland throwing Byrd in game 4 it's as close to a sure thing that the Yankees will score a lot of runs as you can get in post season. A tired sinkerballer (Wang) is the best sinker baller to have as more downward movement will be present. With this matchup Yankee fans, players, coaches are pretty confident about tonight's game 4 sending the series back to Cleveland.
To entertain your question further. Game 5 will feature Pettite vs Sabathia. Judging by the way both pitchers performed in their earlier series outings. Game 5 would lean toward the Yankees. Especially with the 2 game shift. And Yankees are very confident about handling the Red Sux right now so if they were to get to the LCS the Yankees will be clicking on all cylinders.
That is why the few Yankee fans that are being cocky feel that way RIGHT NOW.

Hear is what I think:
What you say is true. One win will not get us into the ALCS just yet, much less make us champions. Yet, the Indians still need to win one more game. I don't know how Wang will do tonight, all I can say is that he pitches better at home. I also don't know how Paul Bryd will do, but I will not believe the stats because I did with Sabathia last week. C.C. didn't give up many runs, but he was awefully close to giving up more.
I think I am the first Yankee fan to answer. I know alot of you will be judgemental and give me a thumbs down.

Like it or not, 26 rings can create a grand delusion in the minds of some Yank fans out there. (Speaking as both a Mets and Red Sox fan, it can REALLY get on your nerves!)
But as far as this series is concerned, Cleveland hasn't lost in their stadium YET, and they have home field advantage. IF the Yankers win tonight, it will most likely be for the last time this season.

because of the fact they have A-Roid and Andy "Steroids" Petite on their team. in addition they could win worldwide sequence Championships each and every 365 days with the payroll they have. communities like the Royals, Reds, and Pirates will by no potential have a raffle to win a worldwide Championship with the way the salaries are commonplace. There desires to be a sales Cap and if there isn't baseball will die because of the fact there is not any stability!

On this site I see more Red Sox fans claiming they've already won the championship than Yankee fans. Are you sure you're not just a little jealous that Yanks are in a more exciting series and the fans are happy because they feel a momentum change?

Yes i realized this to. I live in New york but i come from chicago and the people here feel that the yankees have to win the world series every year. Yes the yankees are a good team but idc if you are the Nl and Al all star team put together, your going to lose once or twice (or more). i think that new york fans need a little douse of reality.

Nobody should look at the World Championship yet.
However, they have the right to believe in a complete comeback as much as anybody else. Anything can happen (your 2004 ALCS Red Sox 4 game comeback proved that pretty well)

They are too cocky when they havent won the other 2 games thats why.. I hate people like that.
Edit: The Mick "7", why are you calling red sox fan disgruntled when actually we have pride in our team..I know i could give 2 shits if they win the world series because i love my team and if you did to you probably wouldnt care but your team has won for centuries, we havent but i dont really care, but since they are doing better it would be nice to see them win for a change.. ITS NOT ALL ABOUT THE YANKEES OR ANY OTHER TEAM THAT HAS WON MORE THAN THE RED SOX. Maybe you should grow up for a change.
