I don't have a linksys router anymore but I am sure you can do it! At the moment I can't think of what the problem would be. Do you have to use the MAC address or can you use the ip address? Seems like it should work for ip address too. Are you restricting access to some programs or is it supposed to be a complete access denial? If you're only blocking some programs maybe that is the problem.

wow....all you people that are recommending proxies...that isn't gonna work at all. The thing the person is talking about is at the hardware level before it even gets out to the internet. It depends on the restrictions...but you can actually limit the times that specific computers can access the internet....so if they only allow the person to go online from lets say 2pm to 5pm...then outside of those time periods they couldn't even get TO the proxy.

The only thing to do is hold the reset button down on the back of the router for 30 seconds....it should reset it to the default settings. The password should revert as well....your parents are gonna notice that one though.

I would have to say that without the user name and password you are pretty much out of luck. If it where easy to get into these systems then no one would use them.

Oh, and by the way, here comes the bull....

You should not go against your parents, it is their house, internet, and rules. you are the child, it's not for you to decide what will go on in the house, that is thier job. If you don't like it then get a job, move out, and pay your own way in life. Then you get to make the rules. till then..... DEAL WITH IT!!!!!!!

Hello, I have a new proxy that wil bypass all those securities even your linksys router, I suggest you to use a proxy site like this: http://therealproxy.info/

You can now browse the internet securely using TheRealProxy. You can unblock popular social networking sites such as MySpace, Bebo, Facebook, YouTube, Orkut, Friendster and many other sites.

You can surf the internet anonymously or invisible. You can browse the web at school without being blocked by the school's filter or in your own house. You can browse the web at work and not be blocked by your work's filter.

    1. Unplug the router.

    2. Push a pin into the little reset button located on the back or bottom of the router. You may have to push in and out a couple of time.

    3. Plug the router back in and go through setup.

    4. Face the consequences of your actions.

    I agree with nyxcat19..

My son tried "altering" my computer once and was in the same canoe you're sitting in . I'm afraid if you violate your parents trust AGAIN..you won't get within 100 feet near the Internet again , at home . Wouldn't that be much worse than a few restrictions ? My kid thought it was ..
