what do you think of marriage in general?

Humans have tried many different ways to live over the last few thousand years. Nothing has worked as well as marriage. Marriage, despite all it's faults, exists because it IS the best way humans have found to live together and raise children. Nothing else gives people a better chance of living happier, more successful lives than marriage. Yes, today it's fashionable to denigrate marriage, but that doesn't alter the fact that no other method of living has been found that works as well. Perhaps someday we'll find something better, but we haven't yet.

I have told you before of my marriage so you should know the answer but I'll reaferm it anyway. Marriage is a wonderful thing if you want it to be. I have always said that marraige is a blood sport and you have to fight to make it work.

You have to be stuporn and commited. With me its ieser than most cause I'm with my soal mate but in the nine years we have been together I have never regretted saying I do. He's a pain in the *** at times like most men but i couldnt have found a better one if I tried.

Marraige should be looked on like it was in the old days. It should truly be a lifelong comitment, not soething that costs twice as much to get out of when you get tired of it. The way I feel when you say I Do its forever.

Me and my husband were together before we were born into these bodies and will always be even after these bodies die.

The word marriage is excellent. The problem is the people that don't know how to respect it. So many people don't even know what it is!

Marriage could be so wonderful. It's just bringing two people that fell in love closer. The ability to share their lives together. If the couple is certain that they fell in love and they could never be apart so they choose to be together till death do them part, then they should get married.

For any other reasons, such as; pregnant, money, home, etc. marriage shouldn't even be thought of, because they will definitely wind up in divorce.

Good if you can make it work without straying but most get the 7 year itch, then if you cannot control things can rock both ways.You will have a rocking time outside and within the marriage it will be on the rocks.

Later day life it is more of companionship than anything else,I guess.

All in all sometimes a wild time is better than no time,to get back on the rails.

I think if thats what you both want then go ahead! Me on the other hand - I don't ever want to get married! You can have exactly the same things with a partner as a married couple would have except without the signing of a piece of paper and having to spend a day with a load of people you don't really like!!!!!!

Just imagine how your parents did promising to each other their love and respect to have family with you as result.

If they did not do that marriage there is no possible you today. Now, think it more over and how to give and provide better tomorrow for your own kids when it turns your time for that commitments.

All marriages take work, but if you love eachother, and are willing to follow your vows, and work out and iron out all the glitches that come your way, then it is wonderful!!! :) !!!
