Did anyone catch last nights Cowboy's game?

Was that not a nail biter to the very end??? I can't remember the last time I was so stressed watching a football game. LOL I was not happy about the 6 turn overs, but I guess it's saying something that they still won in spite of it all. How many Cowboys fans out there who, like me, have been convinced that the only thing we needed to climb back up from the bottom of the heap was a good QB--last night's performance, not withstanding--he was obviously just having an off-night. Happens to the best. Did Romo remind anyone of Dan Marino who often rallied the team back from a big deficit in the last few mins. of the game?

Update:

Oh, boo hoo to the obvious Bills fans in the last few posts. My heart bleeds for you--NOT! Suck it up. The Bills didn't have the game because of superior sportsmanship, but because Dallas was shooting itself in the foot all night. But the Bills STILL lost.

SHEEPLE? LOL. That's a laugh. Us 'boys fans have taken alot of guff since Aikman retired and Dallas was doing so lousy. If we were sheeple, we'd have jumped ship like it was sinking.

Obviously, there is no comparison bet. Marino and Romo. DUH! Just remarking that the way the team rallied back in the last 5 mins. of the game is reminiscent of the way the Dolphins, under Marino, used to.

Well, fellow cowboys fans, it's been real. I'll think of you all as we gear up for this weekend. (((hugz)))

Hey! Someone break out the pizza and wings! lol And the pom-poms

That was a great game! For Dallas to come through with six turnovers is amazing. That's teamwork for you. Bills played great on defense and special teams but couldn't close the deal. How many opportunities did they have to win? But I was sweating like a whore in church for most of the game. I think God was wearing his Cowboys jersy last night.

OK very simply, the Cowboys won because the Bills gave up. On almost three or four drives the cowboys drove it 60+ yards on the bills defense and turned it over because Romo made poor poor decisions. Also, they were clearly past the 10 yard mark when they touched the ball on the onside kick. NOW THE ONE CONTREVERSIAL FACT OF THE ONSIDE KICK IS that there were more than 2 seconds between the cowboys touching the ball and actually falling on it to end the play. Also, the fact that the Bills allowed the cowboys to move into field goal range is completely their fault. REGARDLESS OF officiating they should have called better plays. The pass rush rarely reached Romo he just really sucked last night. Now, the flag after the field goal was not a false start; it was actually because of the coach running onto the field before the ball went through the uprights. However, this would result in yards added onto the kickoff which means the Bills should have had one last shot at a kickoff. However, all the kicker has to do is kick it through the endzone or squib it short to someone and keep it out of Mghee's hands. Oh and also T.O. actually made on good catch on the night and that was when he was pushed out of bounds. And the two point conversion was a pass interference, but T.O. sucks so it doesn't matter.

Again someone thought that was a good game. How do you figure it was a good game when a team turned the ball over 6 times and ONLY won by a stroke of dumb luck? That was a terrible game. At best the 4'th quarter was an OK quarter, but not the game. All you cowboys bandwagon sheeple, this week starts your downfall. You have had ZERO competition until this week. The Pats (as much as I hate them) will embarrass you. Then you guys still have to play Gree n Bay , Washington(twice) and Detroit. Those are all decidedly more competition and I honestly think Dallas will end up 7-9 when all is said and done. So enjoy blindly following the crowd and the Bandwagon ride whilst you can.

It says something alright, that the Bills STINK, just like every other team the boys have dealt with so far. If they manage to be the Pats, then I will sing a different tune, but going 5-0 against teams with a combined record of 5-19 is not all that impressive to me.

As for Romo reminding you of Marino, it is sickening that you would even try and make that comparison, clearly just a delusional homer. He looked like Marino might have when he was in high school, but to compare someone who threw 5 int and fumbled the ball to Dan Marino, you must be high. Maybe you should go back and check out some of the games Romo played, you will see he has only played in about 15 games, and has a history of making stupid plays, but the team bails him out constantly. Fortunately for him, he got placed on this pedastal that he doesn't even deserve to be on, so whenever he does something wrong, everyone just pretends it didn't happen. It's easy to look good when you never even acknowledge the failures.

I know the next arguement, he is practically a rookie and rookies make mistakes, Well people need to make up their mind, is he a top flight QB or "just a rookie QB making rookie mistakes", because you can't be both.

Yeah, wow!! I think that is gonna be the best MNF games of the season. I know it's a stronger argument cause the game is so recent, but that game was amazing! It was fun to watch and I'm glad Dallas won. One of best undefeated teams versus one of the last teams in the league, 6 turnovers by Romo, A kickoff return for td, 2 ints for tds, TD pass in last 20 seconds, missed two point conversion, on side kick recovery, TO's catch overturned as incomplete, Dallas kicks thought to be game winning FG, but timeout called right beforehand, then still makes the game winning FG as time expires to win by 1 point!! WOW!!

I hope the Cowboys beat the Patriots and Billicheat next week.

Although I am not a fan of either team. I will say these things.

    1. Best game I have seen in a long time.

    2. Bills have nothing to be ashamed of. They played a great game.

    3. Romo remained strong even after the turn overs. He did not blame his team or sit on the sidelines and whine like Manning.

Romo stayed calm and collected and never once doubted that his team could bounce back from this. TO even stood behind him and keep on encouraging him. Every QB who has ever played has had a bad game. I pray that his next bad game isn't quiet as bad as this one, but I'll still take one in the win column any day.

  • Last nights game was awesome. I enjoyed the 4th quarter, but the rest of the game I spent most of the time throwing sh*t @ my TV. Romo had a off night FOR SURE. I don't know if you get more off than that.
