I guess that really depends on the person. If you are an independent person than it would probably be ok to be single with no attachments. For other people, it could be alot different. Some enjoy the idea of having a person around to share things with, and others need someone around for security and acceptance. It jsut really all depends.

Me, I am happy with my husband and even though there are times I wish I could strangle him, I don't want to be single again. Yeah, it would be nice to flirt or more than that just for the fun of it at times, but I have someone to talk to, listen to , yell at, snuggle with, and someone to retire with on a beach in the Caribbean....that's worth alot more than the occassional flirt here and there!

Being without a husband for 10 years feels good...or should I just say being without that particular husband? I miss sex, intimacy, cuddling sometimes but I wouldn't settle for less now...so I'd rather be alone...and it feels good...honestly!

i will never overlook my first adventure with the brilliant, new-fangled microwave. I cooked a warm canine on the Oakland military base only formerly boarding the airplane headed for a 365 days of duty in Vietnam.

Everyone needs someone to love or love them at some point. The key is to not settle for less. So if that means being alone, so be it.
