Not able to submit answers?

Hi all,

I've been away from Answers for awhile but I still have an active account. Over the last week or so I've tried to answer questions -- draft my response, click preview & then once I hit submit, the page freezes. When it finally stops loading, it goes to a blank page all the while still showing the Yahoo logo in the upper left section of the browser page.

Anyone have any ideas on why this may be happening? Any insight is appreciated. Thank you!

Update:

I'm using Firefox & have always used that.

Update 2:

Oops, you said operating system - Windows XP

You may possibly have a corrupt cache file -- it makes all KINDS of things go wonky. Try this: clear your history, temporary files (these will take a while!) & cookies, restart the computer and retry. Here is the HELP link for how to do this in different browsers: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/se...

    Hi TM.

Open IE7 ( Internet explore 7) which is your browser and click on TOOLS located to the upper right and then select INTERNET OPTIONS......... There, you will see many buttons. Click on DELETE, then you’ll be taken to where you can either DELETE FILES, DELETE HISTORY, DELETE FORMS, DELETE PASSWORDS AND DELETE ALL.

I highly recommend you to delete your files, history, forms and cookies. Then close that box and then click on OK located to the bottom.

    Disk clean up:

Click on START located to the bottom left on your computer screen and point your mouse cursor over ALL PROGRAMS. Then search for ACCESSORIES and click on SYSTEM TOOLS. Then click on Disk Clean up. After it has completed, run disk Defragment.

Click on START located to the bottom left on your computer screen and point your mouse cursor over ALL PROGRAMS. Then search for ACCESSORIES and click on SYSTEM TOOLS. Then click on Disk Defragment, then click on the Analyze button and then defragment

    Take care. Hope this helps.

It could mean that the people you are trying to post answers to, have blocked you.

That, you need to check the new regime.

    I checked out your profile.

It would be a good thing to change it this time.

Rules. No links, those in you profile could be confused? with spamming. and advertising. Just trying to help, no more linking, they don't like it.

    Good Luck

Try the following help page, it is easier to read, than any explanation I could offer.
