Warner by Far. Hasselbeck has no one to throw to (Branch is out), the Giants will get ahead and run the ball.
Warner 3 TD's 275 Yards, 1 INT

Eli Manning is the man to start.
Hasselbeck's "consistency" was evident last week, when he did a whole lot of nothing against Pittsburgh. Granted, the Steelers are a solid defense, but this week Hasselbeck will be going without the team's top receiver, Deion Branch. Instead, the aging Bobby Engram will step in and hobble around with his walker and/or cane. New Orleans is very bad, I agree, but I still don't like Hasselbeck in this one.
Warner has been pretty decent in his relieving role, but now he'll be the full-time starter, and if we assume he does about as well as he has, he will throw a couple TDs, an INT or two, and maybe 150-200 yards.
Manning is the man this week because Atlanta's awfulness rivals even that of New Orleans, and because Plaxico has been unstoppable in the red zone. Toomer has been notching high yardage, and Shockey is one of the best TEs out there. Remember back at the beginning of the season, when the Giants absolutely stunk and Manning connected with Plaxico for 3 TDs? Look for a repeat of that against Atlanta.

While the Hasselbeck and Manning answers and reasoning is sound, I want to point out that Warner will be at home against a Carolina defense that gave up 20 points to both Tampa Bay and Atlanta. Sure, they held New Orleans to 13 points. But, New Orleans hasn't scored more than 14 points all season.
Since Leinart got injured during last week's game, Warner will also be trying to show that he should be the guy at QB for the Cardinals. That incentive, along with the weapons at his disposal and the fact that they are at home, should make for a very productive day. And, granted it was against the Lambs, keep in mind that Warner threw for 190 yards and a TD in the second half alone last week.
I'd go with Warner.

For points, Eli to Burress good for 100 yds and two scores vs the ugly, ugly Falcons D.
I'm a Seahawk fan and the first thing I'll admit is I'd never pick Hasselbeck to start if anyone else with a decent passing arm is availalble.
Warner vs the Panthers D still not as good a bet as Eli.

Hasselbeck. New Orleans is weak and demoralized. Nobody expected them to be 0-5 after such a great 2006 season.

I would start Eli Manning. He is having a solid season and Plaxico is finally having the type of season he is capable of. Atlanta's offense is worthless and the Giants will feel like they have the ball the whole game. Eli will throw for 250 and 2-3 TD's.

Brees and Hasselbeck without question. Hasselbeck has come back sturdy and now he's going against the worst passing protection and a powerful speeding protection. As for Brees... he's Brees u gotta commence him

I would start eli all the other choices are real sketchy new orleans is bound to get a win and carolina has a really good defense i would stick with Eli he has a lot of weapons.

if i were you i would go with eli vs. atlanta. eli has a great receiver in burress and atlanta does not have a very good team. second i would go with warner vs. carolina b/c he has a great pair of wr with boldin and fitzgerald. last i would go with hasselbeck becasue the past week he lost his best wr branch to injury. just my opinion go with your gut feeling. hope it helps though
