BT router.?

i have sky broadband and supplied with it is a netgear wireless router. can i change this router back to my old BT 1250 router as this router was more powerful and worked great on all my other pc's around the house.

if i can change it how would i go about it.

    Don't. The Sky router is a funny one. Whilst it is a Netgear router, it does have bit of firmware in it that means Sky BB will only work with that router. Nor should you flash the firmware on the router with a Netgear update.

    In short, yes you can, but don't expect the Sky box to work properly as the two have a specific set up.

    Unless you are competent to go and modify s register settings in the router (Which probably still wont let it work properly) Stick with what you were given

    Get a BT home hub and Bin Sky as they suck anyway

    Yes you can change it back and you just have to setup according to the guideline when you install your BT1250 router.
