One of my favourite past-times is emptying handbags....?

My handbag is like a filing cabinet. Every so often I go through it and put things in order.

I've got to empty my handbag today,cos the handle broke yesterday and it can't be mended. I will let you know what I find in there.

Ok, I'll do it now:

Cheque book

Throat lozenges

Glass case

Keys

Tissues in a pack, and scrunched up (But not used)

Sainsbury's vouchers and one of those little thing you use to get a trolley

2 lipsticks, i1mascara

Emery board

2 memory sticks

l Lighter

Comb

4 pens

20 pence piece

half a polo

5 hair grips, no 6. I just found another one

1p

Wet wipes

Bottle of perfume

2 letters

Whew, found it. that's that job done. Thank you for giving me a reason to do it now and not tomorrow morning just before I leave the house to go to work.

Whose? I always welcome flying or visiting an Embassy. That's when I clear out my handbag, because I'm ashamed of the mess and it might just be searched. I once bought twenty ball point pens for the office on a Monday. On Wednesday I flipped out. Not a pen to be seen. On Thursday I had to apologise to my team - the pens were all in my handbag! One year, as summer came round, I took out a pale coloured handbag which I hadn't used for a year and found 100 Swiss Francs (about £50.)

Does this pastime keep you amused for long periods?
