Is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8K a good all-around camera for the money (under $200)?

it's an excellent camera, the Panasonics have Leica lenses which are superb optically and the manual options are very good... I have a DMC-FZ3 and love it ...

I even have purely offered a fuji s9600. I had a s5000 formerly and enjoyed it plenty. I purely have been given a sparkling one because of the extra advantageous macro lens on it. i've got taken the s5000 all all over the area with me. the only turn away to it and that i think of ninety 9% of digital cameras is taking %. of quickly shifting issues like organic international. Theres constantly a pause because it downloads the %and whilst certainly taking the %. I even have %. of a lot of 0.5 animals! Lol! study a lot of comments and write down the pros and cons of each. additionally flow into shops and %. them up and notice how they sense. wish this helps

Yes, I think that camera would do the job. It depends what you are going to use it for. But yes, I think that is a good buy.
