Mississippi... a lot of retirees from the north are settling here. Some say Florida got too crowded & expensive. Real estate is still affordable & w/ your income you could live very well. It's hot during July & August but winters are mild. Hospice places are always looking for volunteers, even if it's just sitting & keeping someone company or maybe @ the baptist assn to help ppl speak english. I've traveled quiet a bit but I really like it here.
Thank you for your service to our country & good luck in the future.
(i love music too)

Utah!! St. George, Utah is an astounding decision. The climate is heat and dry 365 days long. The summers do get somewhat warm, however the humidity is particularly low..around 15%. there are a number of retirement communitites, the economic equipment is solid and the crime fee is particularly low. purely over the border into Arizona is yet another small community of regularly retired persons, named Beaver Dam. this is approximately 20 minutes far off from the casinos the place you may get a solid meal for a small fee. the climate is with regard to comparable to St.George. I even have retired relatives who stay in the two cities and that they like it! solid luck to you in looking the suitable place!
