Medroxyprogesterone problems?
Ok, I was prescribed Medroxyprogesterone for 10 days to make me start a period. Well 4 days ago I took my first pill around 6:30 and by 11:00 I was already experiencing side effects. I was becoming dizzy and lightheaded. By the next day both had worsened and I also threw up and had a major headache. The following day I was still a little dizzy but this time I had diarrea throughout the whole day and I had stomach cramping. Now today I still have diarrea and stomach cramping...is this normal? Should these side effects be going away? Also I didn't take my pill today because I wanted to make sure it is the pill and not a virus. And also I wanted to contact my OB/GYN to see if this was normal. Anybody else taking these experience the same side effects??
