Actions speak louder than words. Even the very little things in life matter. Instead of buying them gifts on holidays, be there for them whenever they need. Never take anyone for granted. Be true & never lie to your loved ones. Never turn your back & walk out on them. And of course, respect them.

key word SHOW them.... it's in the little things that will end up being the big things.. you should TELL them often, too though.. keeping in mind, however, to be sure that you let your ACTIONS speak louder than your words. :)
