I cannot view my messages?

I downloaded Yahoo Message 8.1 into my Windows XP, Cannot view messages out going & incomming, what do I need to do, Thank you. Felix

    Click Messenger on your Instant Message toolbar, click Preferences, click messages, click "show message window"

    click "okay" and now you're ready. That Preferences is a very important part of your instant message experience. I suggest

    that you go into those pages and get an idea what's going on there.
