Digital Camera drains batteries when turned off!!?
I have a Kodak C340 digital camera. I buy new batteries, use the camera for 30 seconds, turn it to the off position, and when I come back to use it, the batteries are completely drained. I have tried all I can think of, any suggestions?

I think its time to get a new camera! It was just yesterday that I real on either aol or yahoo that it can cost up to $180 to get a digital camera repaired. For that kind of money you can get a new one for a little more. They've improved them a lot & prices have come down.
I had a car that did that once. After buying 2 batteries in one month I traded it in.

this is amazingly complicated to tell, this is various reasons: - NiMH rechargeables will lose value normally, no longer plenty you're able to do approximately it different than getting Sanyo Eneloop or Duracell Precharged products which carry their value greater useful. - Li-ion batteries shouldn't drain at as quickly as. there's a quick circuit interior the digital camera, storing it with out battery could be an option. - single use alkaline or lithium batteries (e.g. Duracell extremely). Can drain basically a splash at the same time as inserted, yet whilst this is going however at as quickly as there's a similar situation.

are you using regular batteries, or rechargeable ones MADE for electronics? make sure you use rechargeable ones, since digital cameras drain the hell out of regular ones.
