Is any1 else sick of this whole: "BELIEVE"- mantra during every playoffs?

i know currently that the indians are using it. angels used it. golden state used it too. its like every year, bandwagon hoppers wake up to find out their team is in the post-season and now all of sudden they want to "BELIEVE"?? Believing is what the regular season is for. if youre a true a fan, KNOWING is better than BELIEVING

Haha...I think they should go with the Survivor motto. Outplay, outwit, outlast.

Every year the fans of the team that loses the world series has fans that "believed" they would have won. Every year the team that wins the world series has fans with those feelings. The bottom line is that noone truly knows who is going to win it all, no matter who they root for. Thus the old addage, "that's why they play the game".

The Astros made it into a pretty clever slogan since they had the Killer B's. BEElieve. You believe your team will win. You can't know anything until after it happens. If you say you know your team will win then it is just a different way of saying you believe your team will win, unless you're from the future or something.

I BELIEVE Manny is stoned tonight. His helmet is covered in hash.
