Advanced myspace artist profile question. Best answer awarded quickly if you can help me.?

I need a background on my artist page like one of these.

http://www.myspace.com/avengedsevenfold

http://www.myspace.com/blessthefall

The source of the background images are as follows:

http://www.worldaudience.com/a7x/myspace/a7x_backg...

http://999hi.com/science/btf/topbanner/images/bg.j...

Only the top portion of the source images are shown on the background of the myspace page. I have used a layout snatcher to copy the exact code of these profiles to use on my profile and when I do that, the backgrounds that they use work fine on my profile, however; when I change the background URL to a file of the same type (.jpg) that has dimensions that I created myself, this image is not sized correctly on my artist page. None of the coding was changed except the URL to the new bg image. This doesn't seem to be missing coding.

Is there a special type of image file that I need to use in order to make this type of background? How can I accomplish a background like this of my own

After doing some research, it seems as though the image is referred to as a 'dynamic jpg'. Meaning that it adapts to the pages its used on based on the screen resolution of the viewer. This is done with PHP scripting and is extremely complicated for some one without PHP scripting knowledge to pull off, not to mention that the image has to be created with a special image program design to encode the dynamic properties into the JPG image file structure.

Unfortunately I could not find any way to create and apply such an image myself. My best recommendation is to create an image with an interior blank space width of 800 pixels (the default width of a music space page) and create some sort of images trailing down the sides of the blank space that lead to or fade into a solid color to use as your background. That way everyone will still see the image properly placed like the images from the bands you listed, only the image won't be dynamic and expand to fit larger resolution screens.

I've left the links the the site where I got some of the imformation on dynamic jpgs. Good luck with your page.
