Does anyone know where I can get some free CD/DVD label software?

I'm looking out for some software for printing CD/DVD labels.

I am currently using a Expressit V3.1 which works specifically with the label templates provided by Medea Direct. The software, positioning tool and sample label paper was sold to me by Curry's (aka PC World) under the the PC Line trade name. When I asked if Curry's could get me some more paper, because I had run out, they said they could not - in fact they were most unhelpful, but that is another story!

There are many suppliers of label paper, and they all have their own template configurations. Suffice to say it is apparent that it looks like you need the dedicated software to produce labels on these individual template layouts.

I was rather hoping that there was some software out there which allowed the user to choose between a variety of templates.

Has anyone had the same problem and can you help me?

Update:

So far you have all given me some good connections and links, when I can get round to it I'll check them all out..

Are you all sure that the software that you are describing allows me to use different label formats?

What I mean by this is, if you check out the position of the perforated circles that are on the label sheet that will be peeled off and stuck to the CD/DVD surface:

a) Are they aligned with each other centrally?

b) Are they offset on the page, (sort of diagonally)?

c) How many to a page - 2 or 3?

It seems that the most common format of label paper that can be purchased actually presents a pattern of one perforated circle vertically aligned or on top of tanother.

Because this is the most common format it is generally the most economic to buy, (i.e. it can be purchased from more than one outlet without having to pay the extra delivery charges imposed when bought on line).

So is this software likely to be able to handle this format? Please check.
