I have PS2 as well as a Wii. I have also played microsoft..I have to honestly say.. out of the three i would go with the wii.

Why? Because it's more interactive. You really get into the game physically. The only thing is the Mario games are pretty redundent. You also get the internet with the wii, problem is you can't get everything as in players. Wii does not permit downloads yet. You get youtube videos with good quality, but you can't get anything that runs on media player, java, shockwave players, etc.

What i also like about the wii is that you can still play Game Cube games on it (so they don't go to waste) You can also purchase "Wii" Credits. $10 for 1000, $20 for 2000 etc. and with those credits you can download old school games. Maybe i will finally save the princess in the original mario bros from NES. You can even download Zelda.. the old Zelda..

I like also the fact that there is no cords. I mean there were always "cordless" players out there.. but it wasn't a consistant flow. If you stepped out of range, you would loose your signal. Wii doesn't do that. And if you decide to go over a friends house, and they don't have a second controler.. you can always bring yours and link up to their system.

Sometime this year nintendo is supposed to be releasing a DVD player to go with the wii OR build Wii's with the ability to play DVD's. The current Wii's do not support DVD playback.

    Hope that helps!

It depends on what your after. Online adult gaming? Try Microsoft. Personally I am very partial to Nintendo, but I know I am the minority of my age group. Cutesy graphics and mascots don't bother me. I just want consistently high quality fun games to play, and Nintendo's first party titles always deliver.
