I remember that drink. I drank it all the time when i was a kid. It was indeed a juice drink that came in a glass bottle. It was just called "Koala."

Yes, koalas can drink water but they usually prefer to get moisture from eucalyptus leaves. After being through a bushfire there are no leaves and no moisture and the koalas and other native animals soon dehydrate and drink what ever water is available. The koala in the video was dehydrated, in shock and had quite severe burns. The wildlife officers say it may be 8 months before she is fully recovered and can be released back into the wild. The fireman was not calling her a koala bear. All Aussies know they are not bears. It was a play on words "How much can a koala, bear?" It's a line from a piece called Australiana by Austen Tayshus.
