How long will a female cobalt blue tarantula live without mating?

    i had one for 9 years she was actually quit calm for a cobalt and my friend has had her for 3 years now and she was more than two when i got her. they don't half to mate. she is around 15 now and their recorded lifespan is around 30 or so depending on their care. good luck

    The websites I found said 25 to 40 years with proper diet and care. I would say an average of 20 years is what a lot of female T's live to.

    They don't need to mate to survive and breeding doesn't seem to affect them negatively...

    Females can live anywhere from 15-30 years depending on the species.

    A male in that species though will only live about 1 year past maturing.
