Very simple question....?

Suppose the mileage reading of my car is 10500 Kms. I reverse the car in back gear for 500 meters.

Will the reading of my car would be added by 500 meters or it would be less by 500 meteres, since wheels are moving in reverse direction, or will the reading remain same as before?

Will get added by 5000 kms.

I am very poor in Maths. But I worked out all the formulas that I know in Maths and also consulted my professors.Everybody gave 500 metres will be added.I have added all the 500 metres and the result is 5000 kms.

The reading will be divided by the sum of the digits of the mileage as at the 100th day of its usage, then multiplied by the sum of the numbers on your license plates and finally, using an index to be found on the chart of similar cars used for testing at the motor registry, the sum of the 1st two answers will be per-mutated and subtracted from the sum of the digits of the engine number of the car to the power of the sum of the digits of the chassis number of your neighbors 1st car!

I know (i am not thinking) the reading is bound to reduce. As the transducer is a mechanical device which runs in reverse direction if the wheels are rotated in reverse.
