I will have to say the other nite when they were interviewing Kenny Lofton, for a second he looked like Willie Mays Hays...and instead of Borowski being the Wild thing, he would have been the Cardiac Kid cause he seldom gets 3 up and 3 down lol.

No. If anything Paul Byrd is Harris the old junk baller. Charlie Sheen's character went out there guns blazing throwing 99 MPH how you make the correlation between that character and Paul Byrd or Joe Borowski who are lucky to hit the 90s is beyond me.

Another reason this reminds me nothing of the movie is the fact that the Indians were never that far out of first place during the season like they were in Major League. This is not exactly a Cinderella team full of a bunch of has beens and never weres that come out of nowhere to win the pennant. These guys were actually expected to contend from the start.

Well that movie was filmed at old Milwakee Stadium ... and the Indians played a home series there this year. So um ... maybe. Paul Byrd is like Harris ... he's gotta put anything he can on the ball, but hey it worked for both of em'!

Neither one of those pitchers look or act like Ricky Vaughn.

I don't get what you are trying to say....

..and why do you have to be a tribe fan to compare a pitcher to a movie character? That's biased... I'm reporting this.

(just kidding, honestly.... I'm joking here)

the only thing they DO remind me of is:

"you put SNOT... on the ball?"
