Lotus notes....?

I want to set it up automatically for links, like when you type in a url or email address, but we're wasting too much time looking for it......we can't quite remember whats its called, which makes it difficult to search for the answer in the index. Anyone know what it is called so that when we type an email address into the body of document it will highlight it and form a link?
