Ellen violated the adoption agreement and was in the wrong. She went on a calculated PR campaign to make everyone feel sorry for her and deflect the fact that she did the wrong thing. The shelter, which follows standard practices in how most shelters place pets, is now being made to look bad, when in fact it is Ellen who did the wrong thing.

She is a serial adopter and returner. People like that are generally blacklisted once word gets around to area shelters.

Source(s): I work in animal rescue and take the proper placement of pets very seriously.

No.......Ellen did start all the controversy but she never made any threats she was just speaking her mind....other people were making the threats

Not unless she was personally involved in any threats of violence or if she maliciously made false statements about them. Not everything is a lawsuit.

She can't be held accountable for other peoples actions. That simple!

    ???

I don't think you can sue for that. Now if she had called them names or made false accusations - maybe.
