Are Lie Detectors Foolproof?

Lie detectors can only indicate a likelihood that a subject is lying or telling the truth. Many federal employees are actually trained in how to beat a lie detector!!!

The answers on the lie detectors depends..so if you are confident that u are telling the truth..just relax and don't be nervous..if you lied..just try not to be nervous...just think everything will be alright so that the lie detector will not discover that u r lying..

No, in fact lie detectors are as inaccurate as the are accurate, this is why they can not be used in a court of law.

No. It reads your body not your mind so if your nervous even when telling the truth it might register as a lie.

no, they aren't fool proof. many people are able to lie so convincingly that their blood pressure doesn't change. But if you're not lying, there is a very good chance it won't misread it. i wouldn't worry about it.

NO THEY ARE NOT ACCURATE. JUST STAY COME AND FOCUSED. THINK OF SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY WHILE YOU ARE ANSWERING THE QUESTIONS. I HAD TO TAKE A POLYGRAPH AND THEY WANTED ME TO FOCUS ONA PARTICULAR SPOT ON THE WALL WHICH MADE ME MORE NERVOUS, SO I THOUGH OF SOMETHING THAT MADE ME HAPPY. DOING THIS KEPT ME CALM AND IN CONTROL.

Mine came back inconclusive. Then I happened to see my lawyer congratulating her lawyer on her lawyers win after the hearing.
