Who can do the better free-shots at basketball,guys or girls? and i want your honesty opinion....?

There is no sex that is "better" at free-shots, really. Most people tend to say guys for their GENERAL physical advantage. But their are tons of girls who could whip most of the guys I know at basketball. Me, personally, am TERRIBLE at free-shots.

u cant pick from either one, free throws are all about practice, good form, 1 hand under the ball...ur other to the side of the ball, knees slightly bent and follow through...It seems easy and others may wonder...how come guys like Shaq & Duncan hit 40-60% of there free throws but it verifies that sometimes they use so much power in the post, they don't have that gentle touch at the charity stripe, It's weird though because I'm going to mention an old school player someone forgot or doesn't know of, Nick Anderson of the 1990's played for Orlando with Shaq+Penny, he was one the purest shooters in the league, however he wasn't that afficient from the line. So it all depends really on how much practice u put into ur freethrows + jump shots but it will pay off for u in the long run.

btw - I'd soo rather route for u in a free throw shooting contest against a guy

Both guys and girls have their share of great free throw shooters as well as poor free throw shooters, so you really can't say either.

You figure Shaq shoots under 50% and Steve Nash shoots 90%, I'm sure there are girls with the same percentages.

It would kinda depend on the skills and concentration you got...but other than that i think girls should be a lil better because they shot with two hands and that would be more accurate than us men shoting with one.

I was always better than the boys in free-shots. I don't know why though. Maybe because they are more awkward than we are *shrugs shoulders*.
