You always get honesty from the players its the press that messes up the meaning of sportsmanship. PV was honest and sportsmanlike. He was proud of his team's comeback, disappointed that they didn't win and realistic about the loss to a great team. That's why he is the captain .

It's never the players that portray arrogance (most of the time anyway), it's the British press, and especially the English commentators.
Usually after England win just one game, they're the best team on the planet according to the commentators. I've only ever seen the players being humble in defeat and always congratulate the opposition.
I'm Welsh by the way but you gotta say it as it is.

As I'm not English, I'd describe it as unseen.

Very dignified..............and humble! (that will upset the Jocks and their allegations of arrogance!)
