Help with pokemon emerald?
i've got the eon ticket, aurora ticket, mystic ticket, and the old sea map.. but i couldn't go to any of the islands.. i talk to the green haired lady in the ports in slateport and lilycove but the only options i get is to go back and forth between these two ports and to the battle frontier.. what else do i need to do before i can access these islands? i've caught kyogre, groudon, rayquaza, and the three regis.. by the way.. since i'm playing through an emulator, i used gameshark codes to be able to buy these tickets in a mart (since that is the only way to get them) .. hmm.. does that make a difference?

Crystal is the previous generation to Emerald. Fewer pokemon, different world... some people like the changes to the nextgen (emerald), others don't. Personally, I don't like the nextgen changes. Crystal is my favorite, but I'm downloading a pokemon Yellow rom (I can't find my actual game :( ) for nostalgia's sake :P But Crystal is best, IMO Short version: Crystal

Yes gameshark codes can cause big problems with the Pokemon games, a friend of mine used to use it all the time. However you may not be doing something right so try Game Faqs.

Yeah gameshark can screw up your game really badly sometimes. So when your got the tickets it probably didn't let you go to the islands.

i'll tell why its not working because you used a gameshark and sometimes hacking into the game deletes some saved data
