Gay Republicans?

I'm a gay republican and I'm not like senator Craig that guy was a flippin' moron.

There is only three ideals i don't support within the republican party.

Abortion.

Gay rights.

and Universal Health Care.

I'm not an extremist.

I'm a gay republican. I don't agree with all their patforms by a long shot but I tend to take the Charles Barkley view of "I have money now so of course I'm a republican." It may not be the best reason to choose an affiliation but it's certainly not the worst. Either way you go both parties are pretty pathetic and muddled and regardless of what any candidate says, once they're in the loop it's business as usual and the party lines become irrelevant until it's time for a soundbite.

Well, I'm a straight liberal, but there seems to be a lot of closeted gay activity in the republican party. Remember: A virulent homophobe usually hates himself.

I'm gay and libertarian. Which essentially means that I'm liberal on social issues (gay marriage, abortion, etc.), and conservative on economic issues. Then again, Democrats aren't strictly liberal and Republicans aren't strictly conservative, so there's no real 1-1 comparison.

isn't that a contradiction within itself? so no i think they are all democratic.
