become more ethical. I have been depressed a VERY long time, too.. I am just now, tapping into reasons why, and trying to take responsibility for that. I found help through getting a Dianetics Auditing session at the Church of Scientology. I discovered FOR MYSELF, without anyone telling me, that I was very irresponsible, and that I am the maker of my life, and the way I react to things. I have become much more aware of my own responsibly in what I do or DON'T do in how it effects my life, ya know? Also, I have become more ABLE, and competent as a spiritual being, using Dianetics and Scientology.

My advice, as I am doing myself, is to go to a Church of Scientology and find out more about Dianetics and how it can help you. Also, I am working on an ethics cycle, meaning I am looking for places in my life that I have not been very ethical or responsible, and taking responsibility for that.

I believe that is a main reason for being depressed. Not taking responsibility when needed to, and withholding your actions from others. If there is something you do not want anyone to 'find out', or you're lying to yourself, not being TOTALLY honest in life, you are bound to find yourself being depressed.

Sex is probably the biggest driving force in us all.

I have been in depressive moods and some psychologists even mentioned manic depressive, just from what i have told them.

Well I was depressed but it was a state of mind. The biggest contributor was over indulging in alcohol and doing things I knew I shouldnt have. This leads to alot of peoples depressive modes. Once I stopped drinking and did some soul searching and made a decision to make my life what I wanted it to be I havent taken a pill since. I still have bad days but not near what I used to.

Excercise is one of the best ways to beat depression. It makes the body produce endorfins and gives you lots of motivation, energy, and you really feel good about yourself.

Stop doing things that make you get down on yourself. My problem was like I said over indulging in alcohol. I would get drunk and spend alot of money on gambling, booze itself, cigarettes, etc. The more I drank the worse I got. Taking home any old girl from the bar wasnt good either. Spending money on junk I didnt need and not having it when I needed it was a big contributor.

and always remember this... Life is not about everyone else, It is about you. Take care of you and everyone else will come around.

It matters not what other people do, because you cant make someone what they are not. It only matters what you do and how you feel about it. Take care of yourself and everything else will fall into place. If someone else doesnt like you, that is their problem not yours. You are fine, some people just dont mix. I try to get along with everyone and some people still just rub me wrong or I rub them wrong. That is life.

Just go jog around the block a couple of times and see how you feel today and tomorrow. If you are to big to jog you can walk twice as far and get the same result.

And when you feel bad about something dont get to over indulging in eating, alcohol, or anything else that is going to hurt your mood. Pick up your head and clean the house or something. Little things like this can change your whole outlook on life.

And NOTHING NOTHING in the world can be so bad as to take your own life. And NOTHING is more selfish to do so. As long as one person in this world loves you, you have a reason to keep going. That one person should always be YOU.

No church , no psychologist, no doctor, nobody can help you if YOU dont help yourself.

Just a thought: you say that you don't have the stamina for anything, but you can still engage in sex?

Anyway, maybe you should try to find out what the cause of your depression is. Some of the most probable reasons would be work, family, lack of meaningful social relationships, age, or just your incompatibility with your immediate environment. You won't be able to address your problem until you learn the root of your problem and accept that it is the root, and that you need to do something about it. I wouldn't be able to give you any real answers to your question until then. Good luck introspecting!

I know this sounds trite, but you need to talk to a professional. There could be any number of reasons for your change in behavior and mood. Only a trained professional will be able to help you sort out your feelings and offer possible solutions/treatment options.

i had a bf that had that condition..

he turned out to be bi-polar. That's probably not your condition, but i find myself being the same Way you feel sometimes.. I have to kick my self in the ***, or i get into a depressed state. My suggestion to you...

I find I got out of those "moods" by burning a CD of my favorite tunes..all up tempo and positive. I play them a lot...and LOUD when i have to.. it works my friend. get back to me and I can walk you trough it if ya like. I find good just to talk to an understanding person sometimes too. don't be afraid to have a good cry aether..
