Remove a file type action in the folder options?
I was messing with my file types changing the icons. When i went into the file type File Folder, it removed the open action for some reason. I have had this happen in the past but i fixed it. Well now when i made the new open action, i must have put in the wrong stuff. Does anyone know how to remove an action. You cant click on the edit or remove buttons in the File Folder type. Grrrrrr.

Curiosity killed the cat.
Method 1
Look for SET PROGRAM ACCESS and DEFAULTS in your START menu.
Method 2
Use Restore from the System Tools section of Accessories and set your computer BACK a few days, before you made the dreadful mistake.
Method 3
Attempt to open the desired DEFAULT program and open those files. That establishes that it still works. Then open Windows Explorer to those files and use RIGHT CLICK to OPEN WITH.... and pick your application
Windows contains many PITFALLS, where you can change settings that really screw things up. Adding TOO MANY FONTS is also really bad. So keep the number of fonts to around 400. Adding too many files to the ROOT directory of any disk is bad... it will simply stop taking more files. If you did this with your BOOT disk, you could be DOOMED.
