2 inch goldfish, how old is he??
I have a pond with five goldfish that were bought on 7/25/07. Around 3 weeks ago I saw a new little fish!! He now is almost 2 inches...how can that be possible??

If the goldfish in your pond are single fin goldfish, they are most likely comets and that baby is about a year to a year and 1/2 old.
Fancy goldfish 2" in length can be 2 - 3 years old depending upon the variety.

Really depends on which goldfish it is and they also vary in size so it's hard to tell.
