So readdy for Uni with all the sleeping around and experimentation so readdy for live in realtioships in the second and 3rd years so readdy for life for 20s, so formoing seriosu perminant relationships in late twenties early 30s so by mid 30s have a family.

I'm going to be 15 in 10 days and I've never had a boyfriend. I don't think I was ready to have one before. But now that I am ready to date my mom doesn't want me alone with a boy. Yes be weary of your kids be watchful of them... never letting them date really bad ideal. You cant control people god gave us a free will. All you can do is be a real parent and try to impart some knowledge especially after 14.

Im against teen sex only because pregnancies are too much of a responsibility for teenagers Dating is fine!!! that has no issues unless if someone gets obsessive or neglects school. A speech on teen dating will only provide snide remarks afterwards. I would change it to teen sex and drugs.

what's wrong with dating people huh, my parents let me date, they are completely aware that i socialize a lot with the opposite sex, nothing wrong with that.

Really you should let your children date, if they don't gain the confidence of socializing with opposite sex then when are they going to learn, they wont be so confident, and you never know hanging around the same sex for ages; could turn them gay, it's a possibility.

you should have faith in your children (if you ever have any).

really the problem is that kids can't control their hormones, the problem is that they don't know what to do with such feelings, people have to explain to kids that what they are feeling is natural, but they don't have to act upon it, they have to understand that even though there body may be telling them to do something, they don't need to until they are ready to do it.

Also ignore the 8 year olds asking about love and stuff. Majority of girls are normal alright, remember that. the stuff you read is just the minority op people who don't understand how the world works yet.

Wild post! all teens date and it is most important to be safe. Their are many teen dating sites and other ways that teens find other single teens just be smart and careful.

WOW, that was one heck of an arguement. but i am against teen sex, (or at all before you are married), not teen dating. dating does not always lead to sex. believe it or not, there ARE some teens who have morals and are responsible.

Because teens *have* to date. It's called hormones. The teenagers who don't date are maladjusted, and considered freaks for the most part. The parents that don't let teens do what they want (within reason) scar their children for life.

ummm, i think it's ok if they are 16 or 16+.. they are always curious about love.. love to be loved...lots of people want to show their differences, especially some emo, goths.. but parents should always be willing to give them some advice..
