Use a 0.05 significance level to test the claim of a cereal lobbyist that the mean for all cereals is less than 0.30g.

    since the upper limit of the confidence interval is above 0.30 there is no evidence to support the claim. further the large p-value, another way of looking at this, says the null hypothesis, mean >= 0.30g is plausible.
