He has to like other things besides dirt bikes. What else does he enjoy doing? If all else fails, ask his parents or his friends, but don't tell them what your going to buy. Is this a special occasion? If not, why do you feel that you need to buy him something? Its not a contest.

depending on how amazing the necklace was like if it was gold or those silver things. get him like a watch or make him something. if he likes dirt bikes then get him one of those sweatshirts at pacsun

Get him tickets to an event and go with him. Have a day of things that he wants to do... Dont get him a bike... Very expensive...
