Maybe it isn't fair to answer after I've seen the whole episode, but Matt somehow comes to realize what's going on, snaps out of it, and gets Nathan to snap out of it as well.
Yeah, I can't believe he trusted his dad, what a stupid thing to do! That guy is a huge trouble maker....

I can't stand the father. I think he just might be the downfall, or peter and nate's father (if alive) cause of all the powers that peter has.
